Kindred - Sandcast Pendant

These very unique pendants were made using natural plants gathered mostly from my own garden & each one carries the imperfect details of the natural world.

Through sand casting (which I love!) I was able to cast these plants with their own very individual impressions in sterling silver, creating beautiful organic textures that look & feel like little antique treasures. 

Each pendant has a sterling silver backing, with the sand cast front, giving them that wonderfully earthy, old world look & feel to them.

No two are ever the same, every little detail, every little texture & every little imperfection is part of what makes these pieces so special...

This pendant is oval in shape & measures 16mm by 22mm.

This pendant has been modelled form my Bloom Keeper pendant, I am so in love with the look of bloom keeper but I wanted it to have a more earthy, antique, old world vibe & this is how it turned out.. I made one similar for myself and have not taken it off, I love it & constantly get asked about it..
