Beautiful, Vibrant, Green, Fun, Happy, Fluttery, Joy Filled...

These are all the words I think about when I look at this butterfly pendant, she was a joy to make, I felt extreme happiness whilst she was being crafted & I feel like you can feel that energy within her whilst wearing this butterfly... 

There are tiny potch lines in the face of this opal, they are not cracks. We like to think of potch lines as though the land left her finger prints on her..

Here is the background story of my butterfly pendant creations..

It all started when a butterfly fluttered her way into our truck out on the opal fields, with her appearance came a flooding of memories & inspiration and my butterfly collection was birthed..

As I make these gorgeous pendants I can feel the energy of my grandmother wrap her celestial wings around me, she always told us stories about the butterflys on the opal fields & how they lead the miners (my grandfather) to their treasures. How lucky am I to be able to keep their stories & wisdom alive through our stones and jewellery!
